Specialises in the development of web sites for Artists, and is the web development department of De Amda. We are responsible for all the design and maintenance for the sites within De Amda. Graywolf Design no-longer tenders for general web development work, although we do upon occasion agree to undertake web development and management work, your project would have to interest us. We are still available to undertake work for Artists who want to have an internet presence either as a showcase or full e-commerce site.
With todays web technologies web pages have become much easier to construct and control, and we would encourage anyone to give it a try. You do not need to start from scratch, but use a template created by someone else, (some templates have copyright protection please make sure you have permission to use and/or adapt someone else's code!). But if you do not want to do it yourself, then we can help.
We build and help build CMS, blogging and e-commerce sites using WordPress, OpenCart, Joomla, Oscommerce and Virtuemart with joomla as well as fully bespoke websites using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MYSQL and javascript.
Selecting the right package for your needs is paramount to getting the site right. We can give advice, but we strongly suggest you get some familiarity with some the hundreds of packages available. One thing to remember; in our experience bigger is not necessarily better, and the most expensive is rarely the best! in fact all the packages we work with as listed above are open source and free to download, change and customise!

Another site I have on my toolbar is CMS Matrix this site allows you to compare up to 10 CMS packages at once. A great way to compare the features of different packages and make sure you get all the elements that you need for your project!

Projects in Development
On the principal that the best way to learn the new technology is to use it; we are currently in the process of updating all of our existing websites to HTML5 and CSS3. This site and the De Amda main site are now finished. Both are simple sites and the use of Joomla was overkill, so joomla has gone for these sites and as a result they each take up less that 8% of the space they needed with joomla. They also load in a fraction of the time.
Our thanks to Zurb for their Foundation Framework. It is such an easy to use, powerful and flexible framework from which to start, and the helpful people at Zurb are always on hand to assist.
The e-commerce sites are next, and the move away from oscommerce of the Anniemarshall website. It is now clear, after much research that we will be moving all the e-commerce sites to OpenCart, which is lightweight, reliable and flexible.
We also have a number of new sites both in development and initial planning stages. Exciting things to come all hush hush at the moment!

Great Hosting Company, De Amda uses them for most of their hosting needs. You can also register domain names through eUKhost. This is the first company we've used where we are happy, and have no existing plans to move!

Great for domain registration, also a web hosting company worth looking at! We have registered all bar one of our domain names through this company, with it's quick and easy user account system it is very easy to maintain and renew our domain registrations.
